Your Elixir license key is tied to a single Shopify store’s default .myshopify.com URL. Manage your licenses at app.ecomelixir.com/licenses.
Your key is also emailed to your purchase address when you buy the theme. If the Licenses page looks empty, search that inbox and its spam folder before assuming something went wrong, and check you are signed in with the exact address used at checkout.

Buying a licence for another store

Each store needs its own licence, so running a second store means buying a second one.
1

Buy from the Elixir site

Purchase another licence at ecomelixir.com.
2

Use the same email as your first purchase

Check out with the email address you used the first time. Every licence you own then appears under one account, and you manage them all from the same Licenses page.
3

Assign it to the new store

The new licence arrives unassigned. Activate it on the second store the same way you activated the first, see Activate your license.
Using a different email at checkout puts the new licence under a separate account. You will not see it alongside your existing one, and merging the two afterwards means opening a ticket. This is the single most common mistake when buying a second licence.
If you are moving an existing store rather than adding a new one, you do not need another licence. Transfer the one you have, see below.

Moving your license to another store

1

Open your licenses

2

Click Change Store

Find the license you want to move and click Change Store.
3

Enter the new store URL

Enter the store’s default .myshopify.com URL, not a custom domain.
4

Submit

The licence is reassigned straight away. Enter your key on the new store in Theme settings → License, see Activate your license.
You can find your store’s .myshopify.com URL in Shopify admin under Settings → Domains.

Troubleshooting

”License Required” message

This means the store URL on your license doesn’t match the store where the theme is installed. Common causes:
  • The license is still assigned to a different store
  • You’re using a custom domain instead of the .myshopify.com URL
  • A transfer was submitted but the key has not been entered on the new store yet
Go to app.ecomelixir.com/licenses to verify which store your license is assigned to.
